Fresh Water Pearl Teardrop Necklace

This simple Necklace with small dyed bronze-toned Fresh Water Pearl teardrop is lightweight and easy to throw on and go! Its minimalist style will have you reaching for it again and again.

This necklace is pictured with Vermeil (22k overlay with Sterling Silver core) chain, and can also be made with Sterling Silver and is a great option for those with sensitivities to base metals. It is approximately 18" in length overall, and the teardrop being approximately 3/8 inches high by 1/4 inch wide. Please allow for slight differences in size and coloring (10% variance maximum) as each teardrop is unique!

To ensure that your jewelry stays bright, keep it in an airtight container or a sealed bag like Ziplock, and out of direct sunlight. After each use quickly give it a clean with a dry cloth before placing into airtight bag or container. We recommend putting your jewelry on last when getting ready, as direct exposure to hair-styling products and perfume will often also damage the metal and gemstones. Do NOT use jewelry when swimming in chlorinated, thermal or salt water OR when showering. Also avoid wearing silver while exercising as this will cause sweat and other toxins, which can contribute to tarnish.

To clean, use a non-abrasive cleaning material like a mild dish washing liquid diluted in water. Use a polishing cloth to restore the shine after washing, but avoid contact with the semiprecious stones as the polishing cloth may remove the finish on the stones. Paste or strong jeweler cleaner is not recommended for plated metal as it may remove the plated silver or gold. Do not let your jewelry come into contact with nail polish removers, perfume or hairspray. Do not submerge jewelry completely in liquid jewelry cleaner- this will also remove the finish on the stones. Be sure to use liquid jewelry cleaner on metal ONLY, and always follow instructions found on the liquid jewelry cleaner you choose to use.
